The general manager of was opening the store June 19, when he had to make a phone call to police. According to a report from the 14th District, the manager reported that someone had broken into the safe at the restaurant and brewery, located at 8400 Germantown Ave.
The report goes on to state that the electronic combination lock on the safe was opened and that someoen took an orange and white plastic bag containing $2,000 in cash.
The theft was reported June 19, 8 a.m., according to police.
