Reminder: 14th District Flea Market Saturday

Captain Joel Dales sent out a release on an upcoming flea market, which he hopes will establish a better partnership with the community.

The 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department is looking to establish a better relationship with the neighborhoods it serves. One of their first steps, according to a release from Captain Joel Dales, is to host a flea market for the community Saturday.

The market will be held at Vernon Park, 5900 Germantown Avenue, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Participants are asked to supply their own tables. According to the release, the department is expecting a turnout of more than 300 people.

“The purpose of the event is to develop a better partnership between the 14th Police District and the community it serves,” Dales said in the release.
