Police Blotter: Thefts from Cars, A Laundromat and A Bank
The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
Theft … A man reported Sept. 17, 3:30 p.m., that while he was parked on the 8000 block of Cherokee Street, his Pennsylvania registration plate, number HNM4311, was removed from his car, police said.
Retail theft … An employee of Pathmark, 7700 Crittenden St., reported Sept. 15, 1:31 p.m., that a black female, in her late 30’s, with a medium build and a light complexion, about 5’6”, packed nine cans of Gerber Good Start formula, valued at $140, into a grocery bag and fled without paying, police said.
Theft from auto … A man reported Sept. 16, 5:30 p.m., that while he was parked outside of the , 7 Valley Green Road, someone broke the rear passenger window in his car and a brown leather purse, an iPhone, a Bloomingdale’s bag, a make-up kit and a pair of golf shoes, valued in total at $1,230, were missing, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 400 block of West Sedgwick Street reported Sept. 16, 2:30 p.m., that while she was gathering her laundry at the Laundromat at 8101 Germantown Avenue, her wallet was taken from the counter, containing credit cards, her Social Security card and $250 cash, police said.
Theft … A man reported Sept. 12, 4:05 p.m., that while he was at TD Bank, 8600 Germantown Avenue, he left his cell phone, valued at $500, on a table, and when he came back for it, the phone was missing, police said.
