Police Blotter: Purloined Package

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Theft ... A resident of the unit block of West Willow Grove Avenue reported July 3, 12 a.m., that she had ordered a rug, valued at $1,000 which was never received, although FedEx recorded that it was delivered, police said.

Theft ... A resident of the 9000 block of Crefeld Street reported July 1, 9 a.m., that he left his garage open, and a blue bicycle and a gray bicycle, with a combined value of $1,000, were taken, police said.

Theft from auto ... A woman reported June 30, 7 p.m., that she borrowed a friend's car, and while she had the car parked on the 7900 block of Stenton Avenue, the passenger-side window was broken, and a GPS, valued at $600, was taken, police said.
