Police Blotter: Missing Motorcycle and More

Theft … A resident of the 300 block of West Willow Grove Avenue reported July 17, 2 p.m., that she was away for the weekend, and when she returned she found medication and alcohol missing from her home, police said.

Theft …  A resident of the 100 block of West Meade Street reported July 17, 3 p.m., that a green mountain bike, valued at $200, was taken from her porch, police said.

Retail theft …  Wendell Dingle, 57, of the 600 block of East Allens Lane, Mt. Airy, was arrested July 16, at his residence, on charges of retail theft, after an employee of Pathmark, 7700 Crittenden Street, reported that a man stole six cases of soda and two cases of water, valued at $59, and loaded them into his 1999 blue Chevy Tahoe, police said. According to police, Dingle was caught on tape.

Theft from auto … A woman reported July 16, 12 a.m., that someone entered her car while it was parked outside , 7 Valley Green Road, and her purse, with credit cards and $150 cash, was taken, police said.

Burglary … A resident of the 100 block of West Springfield Avenue reported July 16, 8 a.m., that he was away for three days and when he returned, someone had forcibly entered his home and took more than $34,000 in jewelry, electronics and two handguns, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported July 14, 7:35 p.m., that while she was parked on the unit block of West Bells Mill Road, someone broke the lock on her driver-side front door, and $415 cash and a debit card was taken, police said.

Motorcycle theft … A resident of the unit block of Rex Avenue reported July 14, 8 a.m., that his red Quannon motorcycle, valued at $10,000, was missing from its parking spot, police said.

Theft from auto … A resident of the 9400 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported July 12, 7:15 p.m., that someone entered her car and a laptop and laptop bag, valued at $1,525, were taken, police said.

Burglary … The owner of , 8337 Germantown Ave., met police July 11, 10:53 p.m., when the alarm sounded at the bar, police said. According to police an upstairs window was broken, but nothing appeared to be missing.
