Police Blotter: Eyeglasses and Vases Stolen

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Theft … An employee of Antique Gallery, 8523 Germantown Ave., reported Jan. 24, 1:30 p.m., that two vases and a bronze figure, valued in total at $12,5000, were missing from the store’s inventory, police said.

Retail theft … An employee of J. L. Murray and Co., 8632 Germantown Ave., reported Jan. 23, 10 a.m., that a customer left the store with eight pairs of Armani eyeglass frames, valued in total at $1,400, while he was performing a price check, police said.
