Police Blotter: Airport Security Badge Stolen

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Burglary …  A resident of the 7600 block of Crittenden Street reported May 28, 10:54 p.m., that she heard a noise, and went downstairs in her home to find the rear door open, a window with the screen taken off and plants knocked over, though nothing appeared to be missing, police said.

Theft … A woman reported May 25, 6:30 p.m., that while she was at , her wallet went missing from her purse, containing a debit card and $250 cash, police said.

Burglary … Police responded to a burglar alarm on the unit block of West Willow Grove Avenue May 24, 8:30 p.m., to find that a glass window was smashed and opened, and bedrooms had been ransacked, although the resident could not be reached to determine what if anything was missing, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported May 17, 5:30 p.m., that while she was parked at Germantown and Northwestern avenues, someone had been in her car and her wallet was missing from her purse, which was left in the trunk of her car, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported May 23, 7 p.m., that while she was parked on the 200 block of East Mermaid Lane, someone entered her car and a GPS unit and a Bluetooth earpiece was missing, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported May 23, 9:20 p.m., that while she was parked on the 7600 block of Crittenden Street, someone entered her car and removed an iPod, a GPS unit and phone charger from her glove compartment, police said.

Theft from auto … A man reported May 23, 6:45 p.m., that while he was parked on the 7600 block, someone entered his car and removed his wallet, which included a badge and identification as a member of Philadelphia Airport Security, police said.
