Police Blotter: A Burglary at a Church

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Retail theft … A manager of , 7700 Crittenden St., reported April 14, 8:05 a.m., that a man attempted to leave the store with a number of items without paying for them, including 13 canisters of baby formula, but when the man was confronted, he dropped the items and fled, police said.

Burglary … A resident of the 8100 block of Seminole Avenue reports April 12, 9:45 p.m.,  that someone broke a glass window to her garage to gain entry and a bicycle, valued at $650 was missing, police said.

Burglary … A representative of , 8000 Saint Martins Lane, reported April 11, 9:30 p.m., that someone gained entry into the church and ransacked several offices and one dell computer monitor and one vacuum cleaner were missing, police said.

Theft from auto … A man reported April 9, 6 p.m., that while his car was parked on the 100 block of Rex Avenue, a briefcase and laptop were removed from his car, police said.
