News Next Door: Man Robs Wyndmoor Bank
Police say the robbery occurred noontime Monday.
A Sovereign Bank in Wyndmoor was robbed just after noon on Monday, and a suspect is still at large.
Springfield Township police told Patch that a light-skinned black male entered the bank, located at 800 East Willow Grove Avenue, a few blocks outside of Chestnut Hill, and handed the teller a note just after 12 p.m. The male did not produce a weapon, but held his hand in his clothing in a threatening manner, police said. The teller then handed over an undisclosed amount of money.
