Description Released of Post Office Robbers

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the two men who robbed the Chestnut Hill Post Office.

The United States Postal Inspection Service has released the description of the two men who March 16.

According to U.S. Postal Inspector Reggie Wade, of the Philadelphia Division, the two men entered the post office at approximately 2:15 p.m., pointed a gun at the clerk and took money from the register.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 6’3”- 6’5”, of thin but athletic build, approximately 180 pounds. According to the USPIS, the man had a medium to dark complexion and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and dark gray pants. Although a navy blue turtleneck shirt was covering his mouth at the time of the robbery, the description details that the man had a baritone voice and a goatee.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’8”-5’10”, with a stocky build and a medium to dark complexion. The second suspect is described as bald. He was wearing a sleeveless puffy blue vest, and was also wearing a navy blue turtleneck shirt covering his mouth.

The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of these individuals. Anyone with information should call the USPIS at 1-877-876-2455, and select Option 2.
