Germantown Ave. to Close Thursday for Night Market
A portion of the Avenue in Mt. Airy will be detoured for nine hours for the event.
Whether you plan on heading to Mt. Airy's Night Market Thursday, Aug. 16, or you just want to make sure you're not caught offguard by the road closure, we've got all the information you need.
Night Market will take place on Germantown Avenue between Carpenter Lane and Mt. Airy Avenue from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday. The market will have beer, wine and cocktails, along with about 40 different food vendors. For more on the vendors, see:

If you plan on driving to the event, there will be both valet and self-parking available for patrons. For more on the parking details, see:

And if you just want to know where and when Germantown Avenue is going to be closed for the event, it will close starting at 2 p.m. to allow for set-up and stay closed until 11 p.m. in that section of Germantown Avenue. The 23 bus route will still run. For more on the closure, see:
