Memorial Day Closings
As Memorial Day is observed in Philadelphia, we look at a list of establishments that will not be open.
Don't plan on spending this hot Memorial Day in the local library, and don't expect to pick up ice cream at Weaver's Way to cool down. In observance of Memorial Day, there are closings and different schedules around Chestnut Hill.
SEPTA Chestnut Hill East trains will run on a weekend schedule, while Chestnut Hill West trains will operate on a Sunday schedule.
City offices will be closed. Because of that, trash and recycling pickup will be pushed back one day throughout the week.

Libraries throughout Philadelphia—including the —won't be open.
The on Germantown Avenue, and all post offices in Philadelphia, are closed. All three locations will also be closed.
