Infusion on the 7100 block of 'The Ave' used to be a great coffee shop where you got a great cup of coffee, the staff was professional, courteous, and friendly, the place was spotless, you got your latte before you got to page two of the paper, and you also met and made some great friends. Joclyn and Jason should never have sold that great coffee shop for Infusion may have the same name but is nothing now but a high-priced Confusion. With regard to the two coffee shops listed in the article, I cannot speak about them because I'm not walking four or five blocks or taking a bus just to get a cup of coffee. And I seem never to be in those coffee shop areas at the same time I have an urge for a cup of coffee to gauge whether their coffee is great or if the coffee is good because of the people and the relaxing environment. However, if you know of me through PATCH or Face Book and want to have my coffee some morning and chit-chat, feel free to hit me up preferably through a PM on Face Book. Hope y'all have a great day now that you've had your coffee!

Why would anyone leave anything of value in an open area at their place of employment? Lack of common sense seems to be running rampant in this day and age. Geez, and right here on my block, too.

Come on, Jake, there has to be more to the coma lady story. Like was she in the hospital for two weeks in a coma and after returning home discovered the missing money. Maybe this tid bit of a story would have been best left untold or like Mary A. Harris and T. Scott said combined, the heading should have been If You Snooze, You Lose. Or else the LEOs should have embellished the report somewhat. How does a person just awake from a coma and check his or her checking account...details, Jake, details. It could have been a neighbor of mine laying on the floor for two days in a coma; worse yet, it could have been me. What? She just fell on the floor, was out for awhile, woke up and continued with her chores, and when paying her bills discovered the missing money and reported to police she was in a coma. Come on, Jake; your police story was a simple lead-in to the full one.

So, AGDSG, what the heck do outlet stores in the UK have to do with a start-up company in the garage behind some houses in Chestnut Hilll? Jake, pay attention, these outlet stores are nothing whatsoever like what we are talking about.

So according to the stats, I'm in the minority in Mt. Airy but if I were to move to Chestnut Hill, I'd be in the majority. And it's people who would dare write articles such as this month's Philadelphia Mag who perpetuate negativity no matter what the topic. First, there was a Caucus, then came a Black Caucus; first there was a CPA Association, then came the CPA Black Association; and so on and so forth. Like someone stated previously, what pray God would happen if there was an NAAWP or a WET? Who REALLY is keeping racism alive and, more importantly, how long will it continue? As long as it's a part of history, it will always be and that's a sad state of affairs for future generations!
