  • Of the listing McShea's Restaurant & Bar

    *****

McShea's is an earthy pub with real friendly staff and regular patrons. Great beers, a good down-to-earth pub menu, and ver reasonably priced. There are two things that compel me visit McShea's. One it the Irish BLT and the other is the hot corned beef sandwich. I mean they are a real treat that you will not get anywhere else in the area. Really, try them. You will go back for more.

  • Of the listing The Pub of Penn Valley

    *****

My wife and I have lived in LM Twp. since 1978. We are 3 blocks from the Pub. We have been going there since it opened. I think that was maybe 15 years ago. We also have tried many other pubs in the LM area. I won't name them but they are in Narberth, Ardmore, and Bryn Mawr. They are good, but the Penn Valley Pub is better when it come to the food served and the prices for that food.It is a more delicate and creative cuisine thatn most pubs. Restaurant reviews are not my forte, so I'll just say this. Try the crab cakes, the broiled grouper, the rack of lamb, or a burger. You'll be happy. The wait staff and bartenders are great. The chef(s) know the value of flavor. The ambience is upscale pub, and they will turn the music down if you find it too loud. Amen! Try it. You will not regret it

  • Of the listing The Camera Shop

    *****

This is the only camera store in the area with a staff that actually has a meaningful knowledge of photography technique and equipment. I am a professional photographer, and my experience has been that it is the only retail shop in the area where I can get informed answers to my questions about gear of all types. I go nowhere else to buy.
