I am a native Philadelphian who was born and raised into a family of seven. I am the sum of many experiences both positive and negative. I am educated both academically and streetwise. I have always been a seeker and a student. I was raised in a middle class family, received a B.F.A. in Dance from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. and had a successful career as a dancer/singer. I was fortunate to travel nationally and internationally working on the stage, being exposed to different cultures, people and religions. I spent 10 years in New York City Where I married, had children and became a stay at home mother of two boys. I have known privilege and poverty. I have been involved in therapeutic communities (AA) and spiritual practices (chaplain/yoga) since my adulthood both as a healer and receiving healing. My quest to know psychology, theology and human behavior has been my purpose in life. I am now a single working mother. I have many tools in my toolbox. They have all been taught to me. I am strong, smart, intelligent, funny, insightful and skilled. I am humble, teachable, imperfect and human. I don't like labels. I am more than a life coach, chaplain, poet, dancer, teacher, mother, sister, friend, worker etc. I can qualify my expertise in life coaching at the end with credentials, certifications and degrees. These are all important because they gave me information, however, it is what I did and continue to do using this information which validates me to claim the responsibility of life coach. I bring who I am and all I have accomplished to my profession and I take it very seriously. I believe the work I do with my clients should be exciting and fun, and I did use the word work. It is my privilege to help my clients achieve their goals. I view my work as a calling and not a job. I am excellent at what I do. With great respect I humbly introduce myself to you.
