Germantown Students Participate in PAL Day at City Hall
Two students from Germantown meet the mayor and other city officials as part of a career-building day.
Two Germantown area high school students, Malik Williams and Kelly Lyles, recently attended the Police Athletic League Day at Philadelphia City Hall last week where they met Mayor Michael Nutter and participated in networking and career development events. The PAL participants spent part of the afternoon learning the inner workings of government with the guidance of assigned officials, including those from City departments/offices, the judicial system and City Council. Lyles is a senior at Central High School, and he has been a member of the St. Benedict PAL for 10 years.
