Chestnut Hill Hosting 'Hoops Madness'
The Chestnut Hill Community Association will be hosting a basketball tournament for kids in honor of March Madness.
In the spirit of March Madness, the Chestnut Hill Community Association will be hosting a three-on-three ‘Hoops Madness’ tournament at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy on March 23. The tournament for kids ages 6-18 will include a three-on-three tournament as well as a three-point and foul shooting contests. “I think it could be a good long-term event for us,” said association president Brien Tilley. “We’ve contacted all the schools in the area and all the sports associations.” Tilley added, “We should get a good turnout. It should be fun.” Tilley also said that the association has not had a hard time finding sponsors for the event.
