The Night Kitchen Makes Nutter's Inauguration Cake
The Chestnut Hill bakery decorated a cake for the mayor's celebration Monday.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter was sworn in for another term Monday, and Chestnut Hill baker Amy Edelman was on hand, with a cake from her bakery, The Night Kitchen, made for the celebration. The bakery's pastry chef Jenny Low was behind the design. "The topsy turvy design reflects the nature of politics and the topper is the Mayor's new initiative 'Philly goes 2 College'. The rest of the cake inspiration comes from Philly icons of food, art and history," Edelman said, describing the cake.
