Hopefully you still have your Christmas tree. If you do, there's a pretty easy way for you to get rid of it in a little over a week. A variety of participating organizations are working together to organize "Christmas Tree-Cycling" in East Mt. Airy from 1 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 8. People can bring their trees to Gabbie's Community Garden at the corner of Chew Avenue and East Mt. Airy Avenue to drop off their trees, which will then be woodchipped. Organizers are requesting a $5 donation. The event is largely being put together by East Mt.
