One of the most high-profile trials of the year is set to begin and Patch wants to know if you think former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky will be treated fairly. Prosecutors claim that Sandusky groomed boys he met through The Second Mile, the charity he founded for at-risk youth in 1977, then attacked them, in some cases in his own home or inside university athletic facilities. Jurors will not be sequestered, meaning they can spend nights and weekends at home. But the judge gave strict orders for them to stay clear of any news reports, as well as social media.

Earnest, I agree totally. Attorney General Linda Kelly nearly broke her arm patting herself and the state on the back for getting Sandusky off the streets. Her post-verdict podium speech was a bore, unnecessary and obviously a valuable campaign ad that money could never buy. She should earn re-election by going after Corbett and nailing him for sweeping the Penn State scandal under the carpet. …   more ›
