The local Latin-American Restaurant will be running a special on tacos starting this Tuesday.
The following is a press release. Starting Tuesday, April 9 and just in time for warm weather, Mt. Airy’s Avenida has added Taco Tuesday, featuring three tacos and three sides for just $20 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Refreshing margaritas, $5 each, will be served in six fresh fruit flavors including mango, passion fruit, prickly pear, watermelon, peach and blood orange. The market is coming up Aug. 16.
There will likely be lots of food trucks at the Mt. Airy Night Market on Aug. 16, just like there have been at previous iterations of the festival in Northern Liberties and the Italian Market earlier this year. But the Night Market festivals, which are run by The Food Trust, also focus on keeping things local. That's why nine local food establishments, as of now, have worked to sign up to sell food along Germantown Avenue during the Mt. Airy version of the market. The market will close down the avenue between Carpenter Lane and Mt. Airy Avenue from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on the 16th.
