I'm as cynical as the next journalist, but reports like this one from Philly.com always manage to really bring me down. According to a report from the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Toys for Tots collection bin outside of the Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop has been missing for a week and is believed to be stolen. There's no police report, the story says, and Cheese Shop owner Dan Weiss is hoping that area surveillance cameras have some clues as to what happened. In the meantime, it might not be a bad idea to pick up a new toy and help make up the lost donations. I know that's what I'll be doing.
