Sedgwick Station is a stop on Septa's R7 Regional Rail train, which terminates at Chestnut Hill East Station. Commuters can connect there to bus route H.

Its fare zone is Regional Rail zone 2. There is no ticket office at the station.

During the work week, trains into Center City generally stop at the station every half-hour from 6:04am to 9:38am, then shift to an hourly schedule until evening rush hour; that's when trains resume a 30-minute schedule from 5:28pm until 7:31pm, shifting back to hourly for the rest of the night until 12:28am.
