Germantown High School
215-951-4004
Mount Airy schools such as C.W. Henry and Henry H. Houston Elementary feed into Germantown High School. According to the school's website, its mission is to "provide each student with a diverse education in a safe environment that nurtures disciplined learners."
Germantown has several assistant principals who report to Principal Margaret Mullen. The school's campus, which is just off of Germantown Avenue, is lined with trees and has several benches. The original school building, which is supported by columns, was built in 1914, and there have been subsequent additions to the structure.
Students from all four Mount Airy elementary schools (Houston, Henry, Emlen and Lingelbach) feed into Germantown High School. Those who attend schools in West Oak Lane, Chestnut Hill and Germantown may also go to Germantown High School, though they may also apply for special admission or citywide admission high schools.
