Germantown Ave. to Close for Fall for the Arts Festival

Germantown Avenue will close to traffic in Chestnut Hill on Sunday.

Germantown Avenue will close to vehicular traffic on Sunday, October 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to make accommodate the Chestnut Hill Business Associations annual Fall for the Arts Festival.

More than 150 artists from across the country will line Germantown Avenue selling their wares.

Germantown Avenue will be closed starting at Willow Grove Avenue going all the way up the hill to Evergreen Street.

Visitors can stroll the Avenue to view and purchase fine arts and crafts, enjoy live music or dine al fresco. Children can create their own works of art in sand or wood or choose a favorite ride in a special amusement park. Admission to the festival is free.

There will also be $5 all day parking in any of the Chestnut Hill parking lots.
