Free Concert: There will be a free concert at the Mt. Airy Train Station located at 7423 Devon St, (at Gowen) on Friday at 7 p.m. Here's how the organizers describe the concert: "The Knights of Soul have that big soul band sound with plenty of horns, great drumming, hot guitar licks and great singing by lead singer, Don Jones. They reach back over the last 60 years and find the best of Soul and R&B and bring it on home to us. This is an outdoor concert, bring a lawn chair or blanket, a picnic, and your dancing shoes ! Irish Music Festival: Friday night of the PCG Irish Traditional Music and Dance Festival, September 13th, starting at 8:00 p.m. is filled with music and dance with a Ceili dance with live music by the McGillians & Friends, one of the best Ceili bands in the tri-state area, certain to make the Festival Ceili dance a hit. Additionally, in the Fireside Room there will be a music filledRambling House hosted byGabriel Donohue that will start at 8:00 pm and go on through the night.
