Street FareMt. Airy USA's Street Fare will take place on Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m.  The Street Fare will feature food and food trucks from Mt. Airy as well as from all over the city.

Tai Chi in the Garden: Here's how Morris Arboretum explains the class: "Taught by Al Smith, Practitioner Member, National Qigong Association Do you want to reduce stress, quiet down, move in a slow, balanced way, and cultivate energy? In the beautiful outdoor setting of the Morris Arboretum we will share in the practice of the healing art of Tai Chi. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner accompanied by deep breathing. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. We will begin with Tai Chi EasyTM Level 1, no previous experience is needed. Al Smith has over 200 hours of teacher training from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi. Please wear loose-fitting clothing to the class.

Swing Dance ClassesThe Allens Lane Art Center will offer intermediate level swing dance classes starting this week.  Here's how the Art Center describes them: "Intermediate East Coast Swing - This 4-week class on Wednesdays will expand your repertoire of cool swing moves & develop your partnering skills.
