Karen Singer will first offer a free introductory workshop to discuss tile as an art medium. Those who are interested can then create a tile for the “neighborhood patchwork quilt” that will be permanently installed in an interior wall of Center on the Hill. Participants also will be welcome to make a second tile to keep for themselves. Come leave a creative, permanent mark in our Center with your own, beautiful, hand-made tile. Center on the Hill is located in Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19118.
