Lecture: The Impact of Portrait Prints of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War

Dr. Donald Cresswell of The Philadelphia Print Shop will present the lecture, “The Impact of Portrait Prints of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War” during “The Legacy of the Civil War Conference” at Chestnut Hill College from 11:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 11. His lecture will discuss why the portraits and images of Abraham Lincoln during his presidency and the Civil War have become some of the most historically significant in American history.  Dr. Donald Cresswell has been proprietor of The Philadelphia Print Shop since 1981, and has made appearances as an appraiser on the Antiques Road Show since 1997.
