Education Committee Meeting

This past summer, PCCH helped fund the Freedom School summer program, directed by Eileen Jones, Director of Urban Ministry, at the First Presbyterian Church Germantown. This program focused on building reading skills for 50 children K-8 in the First Presbyterian Church Germantown community. Eileen will be joining the Education Committee to report on the success and impact of the program. She will also share, based on first-hand experience, the ways in which we can provide volunteer support for this vital program in 2011. All are invited to join us to hear what Eileen has to share, and to consider how we can help expand the success of The Freedom School at FPC Germantown.
