Composting Workshop at Grumblethorpe

Spring is an excellent time to start composting! 

A successful garden, landscape, or lawn begins with the soil. Register for the Penn State Extension Philadelphia County Backyard Composting Workshop and discover how compost can help you get the results you want.

 After the one hour presentation and question and answer session you will be ready to compost in your own backyard or community garden. By utilizing this simple process you will be able to recycle your leaves, kitchen scraps and yard trimmings to produce compost, a quality soil amendment.

The Penn State Extension, Philadelphia County, Horticulture Department is offering this composting workshop.
