Catholic Schools Week Starts Sunday

This year's national theme is "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service."

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week beginning Sunday and extending through Feb. 1.

This year's national theme is "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service."

Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of the values-centered, faith-filled education that students receive in Catholic elementary, secondary and special-education schools, according to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has 123 elementary schools and 17 high schools and four special-education schools, and boasts on its website that 92% of its graduates go on to college.
