In Chestnut Hill, Treatman Won Half of Divisions

Of the ten voting wards in Chestnut Hill, five went to Treatman, four to Bass and one went to Tyner.

The primary election is over. Cindy Bass won the Democratic nomination for the 8th District City Council seat. In Chestnut Hill, however, six out of 10 divisions supported other candidates over Bass. In some divisions, Bass came in second or third place. 

Chestnut Hill falls entirely in Ward 9. Within Ward 9, divisions 5, 6, 16 and 17 voted for Cindy Bass overall. 

In Division 4, Treatman beat Bass by three votes. Division 8 went to Treatman 44-25 over Bass. Divisions 10 and 11, which voted at St. Martin in the Fields Church, combined to give Treatman 155 votes to Bass' 117.

In three divisions, Bass came in third or fourth place.

In Division 7, Tyner took first place with 48 votes, while Treatman received 36, Paulmier got 34 and Bass received 31. Bass came in behind Treatman and Tyner, respectively in divisions 8 and 9.
