Fattah to Attend Meetinghouse Groundbreaking

The congressman announced he will be at Tuesday's ceremony.

Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA), announced Monday that he would be present at the May 15 groundbreaking for the new meetinghouse project.

“This new meetinghouse, steeped in the deep Quaker traditions of Philadelphia and Chestnut Hill, will be a major community asset,” Fattah said in a press release. “The project, aided by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, will drive economic development and tourism in Chestnut Hill, provide public meeting space for social justice and community service activities, and serve as a significant art venue.”
