EMAN and WMAN to have Joint Meeting

The two neighborhood groups will host a public forum on Tuesday.

Mt. Airy's two major neighborhood groups, the East Mt. Airy Neighbors and the West Mt. Airy Neighbors are holding a joint meeting and forum on Tuesday.

The event, which is titled "Making the City, Hospital and College Work for Us," will focus on "significant changes and improvements that affect our daily lives," according to a statement on the WMAN website.

The forum will feature three speakers: Kathy Cruz, from the Office of the Managing Director of Philadelphia, who will be talking about the city's 3-1-1 program, Dr. John Cacciamani, from Chestnut Hill Hospital, who will discuss the hospital's and Diane Kae from the Community College of Philadelphia, who will discuss changes to Pell grants.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan 15 and will be held in Hagan Hall at the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Philadelphia at 7301 Germantown Avenue.
