Community Association Keeps Busy Through the Summer

See what the Chestnut Hill Community Association is up to next week.

While a lot of civic organizations in the city take the summer off, the Chestnut Hill Community Association still has a lot happening.

Here's a quick rundown of what the Chestnut Hill Community Association is up to next week.

Concert in Pastorius Park- The summer concert series continues Wednesday in Pastorius Park.   Cheers Elephant ("fast-rising rock stars return to the park") at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

Development Review Committee- The Community Association's development committee will meet on Tuesday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chestnut Hill Hospital.  The agenda is set to discuss a subdivision at 179 Hillcrest Ave. and storm water management.  That's the same agenda the Land Use committee had last night, and that meeting lasted 15 minutes.  Still, if you're interested, all meetings are open to the public.

Picnic- Just a heads up--the Chestnut Hill Community Association will hold its 15th Annual Police, Firefighter, and Postal Workers Picnic on Wednesday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m. at Pastorius Park.  Again, all are welcomed to attend.
