'Cobblestones' Repair: Historical Society Meets With PennDOT
PennDOT is currently regrouting and repairing the stones along Germantown Avenue.
While the kick-off of PennDOT's repair work along Germantown Avenue , the work has been going on for the last several weeks.
According to a Newsworks article, the Chestnut Hill Historical Society met with PennDOT about the repair work. The aim, according to the article, is to ensure the stone, which are actually called Belgian Blocks, are being preserved.
