City Council To Hold Two Additional Public Hearings On Redistricting

Council will hold two meetings outside of City Hall.

Philadelphia City Council has announced that two additional public hearing on redistricting will be held outside of City Hall.

The hearing dates are:

Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. at Esperanza Academy Charter High School, 301 West Hunting Park Ave. This hearing is spondored by Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sánchez.

Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. at Albert Einstein Medical Center's Gouley Auditorium, 5501 Old York Rd. This hearing is sponsored by Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller and Councilwoman Marian B. Tasco.

Council held their on the issue Aug. 16, at City Hall, where they heard testimony for residents, community organizations and activists.
