City Council Candidate Verna Tyner Begins Campaign Tour

Tyner is one of several candidates vying for the Eighth Council District seat.

At a campaign event, City Council candidate Verna Tyner said she began her tour at Jenks School in Chestnut Hill in order to show her support for good education throughout the district.

The most recent stop on her campaign tour was a campaign kickoff event at Community Acupuncture of Mt. Airy (CAMA) on Feb. 10.

Inside, supporters held signs and extolled the virtues of the candidate they supported. One of the biggest issues they discussed was how they felt Tyner would help business continue to develop along Germantown Avenue.
