CHCA to Bring Bass, Oh to Talk AVI

A panel on the issue is coming to Chestnut Hill.

The Chestnut Hill Community Association is aiming to have some big names in town later in the fall.

The CHCA plans to bring Philadelphia City Council members Cindy Bass and David Oh to sit on a panel educating and answering questions from Chestnut Hill residents on the city’s forthcoming Actual Value Initiative.

While the panel’s participants and final date have not been solidified yet, the prospective date of panel is planned for early November.

According to the CHCA president Brian Tilley, the board has reached out to several council members and other current and former city officials, as well as several others who are “non-political, but knowledgeable on the subject.”

“Politicians want to be out in front talking about this, but I don’t see it as a political thing,” he said.
