Bass to Hold 'Community Listening Tour'
The candidate will travel throughout the 8th Council District before Election Day.

Bass' campaign said Tuesday the front-runner in the race for the seat would travel throughout the 8th District over the next four weeks to "gather ideas from community leaders and voters of the ... district about moving the city forward."
Town hall-style forums at churches and community centers will be the basis of the tour. The first is scheduled for Tuesday night at New Joy Missionary Baptist Church at 2314 W. Allegheny Ave. from 7 to 8:30 p.m., but future sessions will also take place.

A full schedule has not been released.
“I am going to City Hall to get results for the people of the 8th District," Bass said in a news release. "In order to be best equipped to do so, it is important to gather information from the community, and I hope to achieve that through the stops on this listening tour.”
