Bass, Police to talk Safety, Crime

The city councilwoman and police are teaming up to discuss crime in the 14th district.

Members of city council and the Philadelphia police force will be in the area to discuss neighborhood safety and crime with residents.

According to a release from Cindy Bass, the 8th district councilwoman will be appearing with Captain Joel Dales of the 14th Police District to discuss "efforts by law enforcement to stop the epidemic of violence that plagues certain neighborhoods in Philadelphia and to receive feedback from the public," according to a statement.

"This is an opportunity for local residents to hear from the Councilwoman and work with her staff and law enforcement on issues and concerns as they relate to crime and safety," the release states.

Bass and Dales will be at the following locations to meet with residents:
