Woman Sees Neighbor Riding Her Recently Stolen Bike, Police Say

$5,000 worth of construction materials is stolen in a separate police report.

Theft: On April 2, at approximately 1 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 6700 block of Chew Avenue.  According to police, more than $5,000 in materials were taken from a construction site.  Those materials included jacks, an out rigger and iron gates.

Theft: On March 29, at approximately 1 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 7000 block of McCallum Street.  According to police, a resident of an apartment building had her bicycle stolen from a common storage area in the basement of her complex.  The woman went on to claim, police say, that she saw one of the complex’s residents riding her bike.
