A man is also shot with a BB gun.

Aggravated Assault: On April 19, police received a report of an assault at the intersection of Morton and Duval Streets at approximately 5:59 p.m.  According to police, a man claimed that he had been shot in the right arm with a BB Gun.  Police saw no signs of visible injury.

Aggravated Assault: On April 20, at approximately 11 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 6300 block of Germantown Ave.  According to police, a woman was at a party, when two fellow party-goers accused the woman of stealing money.  Police say the two people then kicked and punched the woman and then tried to tie her up with shoelaces.  The two people then cut the woman’s right cheek with a knife, police say, and she was told to take a shower and change clothes.  Police say that the two people then threatened to kill the woman if she told anyone.

Neither Morton and Duval or 6300 Germantown Ave. Are in Mt. Airy or Chestnut Hill. Both are in Germantown. Jake, please tell me why you are reporting news from Germantown on this Patch?

I appreciate the crime reports even if they are technically not in Mt. Airy or Chestnut Hill. We are only separated by a few blocks.

The East Mt. Airy Neighbors define their boarders to the south as Washington Lane, to the east as Stenton Ave., to the West as Germantown Ave and to the North as Cresheim Valley Drive. The West Mt. Airy Neighbors define Mt. Airy as "Mt. Airy stretches from Cresheim Valley Road (northwest) to Wissahickon Gorge (west) to Washington Lane (southeast) to Stenton Avenue (northeast)." These are the borders I use when compiling crime reports.

Fair enough, Jake. I was going by the Mt. Airy zip code border which is Johnson St.
