Vandals Defacing E. Mt. Airy Homes

Offensive and hateful things are being spray-painted around the neighborhood.

East Mount Airy has an equal-opportunity vandal: Just about everyone is offended.

In bold purple spray paint, offensive and racist images including penises and swastikas have been drawn on garage doors along East Durham Street, The Daily News is reporting.

The Daily News says the various images and words that have been painted could be seen as offensive or derogatory to blacks; Jewish people; members of the military; and even English teachers.

Philadelphia police are aware of the vandalism, The Daily News said, but no arrests have been made.
