Teen Allegedy Tries to Hide on SEPTA Bus

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

Police processed a juvenile for allegedly stealing from a SEPTA bus driver in Mt. Airy, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, a SEPTA bus driver flagged down police on October 6 and stated that a young male had ripped his transpass off of the bus's pay station and fled to the rear of the bus and "went into a crowd" at the back of the bus.

Officers boarded the bus and were able to ID the adolescent alleged to have taken the pass, according to reports. Police apprehended the boy and took him in for processing.
