Student Stabbed with a Pencil, Police Say

Also, $3,000 in construction equipment is stolen from a house on Upsal Street.

Aggravated Assault: On March 11, at approximately 1:45 p.m., police responded to a report of an aggravated assault at the Jenks School located at 8300 Germantown Ave.  Police say that one student stabbed another student with a pencil in the chest and back causing scratches.

Burglary: On March 11, at approximately 11 a.m., police received a report of a burglary in the 300 block of East Upsal Street.  According to police, burglars kicked in the rear basement door stealing several pieces of equipment including a nail gun, a ladder, a laser level, a miter saw and a hammer drill.  Police value the equipment at more than $3,000.
