Stolen Car, Stolen Tags in the Northwest

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

A Mt. Airy resident reported that their car was stolen near Stenton Avenue, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, a resident claimed that their blue Honda CRV was stolen from the area around the 100 block of of Pleasant Street sometime between October 22 and October 28. The car was reported parked on the street near the area.

An investigation is ongoing.

Police are also investigating two reports of stolen registration tags in the Northwest. According to reports, two separate residents reported that their registration tags were taken off of their cars on Oct. 28. The two incidents took place on the 200 block of W Mount Pleasant Avenue and 7722 Ardleigh Street.
