Search Resumes for Boater Missing in Delaware River

The 66-year-old man was on a sailboat with four other people when it capsized Wednesday night.

Crews on Thursday morning resumed their search for a boater missing in the Delaware River.

The 66-year-old man was on a sailboat with four other people when it capsized Wednesday night, The Philadelphia Inquirer said. The other four people made it safely to shore.

The man was last seen around 8 p.m. near 5200 block of Pennypack Street in Holmesburg, the Inquirer said. The search had to be called off Wednesday night because of the intensity of the storms passing through the area.

The missing boater has not been identified.
