Resident Robbed on Mount Pleasant, Police Say

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

An area resident was robbed while walking near W. Mount Pleasant Avenue on Nov 30, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, the complaint stated that she was approached by two unknown men, estimated to be between 16 and 20 years old while walking near the 100 block of W Mount Pleasant Avenue at approximately 6 a.m. The woman reported that one man held her arms while the second patter her down and took her iPhone.

The item is estimated to be worth $400. No weapons were reported used.

Reports list the two men as being between the ages of 16 and 20, 6'0, 165 lbs and 5'5, 180 lbs respectively, both with brown eyes and facial hair. An investigation is ongoing.
